Seduction Definition
The regular, well-known seduction definition is terribly incomplete. It implies putting on a false face, acting like someone you're not, and trying to "impress" rather than attract.
This couldn't be farther from the truth. Real sensual seductions begin when people let go and become REAL with one another. It's friendship mixed with love. It's playful, yet hot. It's becoming your best self and loving yourself, reflected in the eyes of another. Seducing someone gives you a chance to fall in love and LOVE provides ultimate entertainment value to both parties. Who doesn't enjoy a break from the world? At one point or another we all long to be seduced.
Though probably with the help of protesters against the "community", some have made it seem like seduction is bad. It isn't. It's a game between two players... and can be quite a delicious game indeed. Though it started as a power play, now, in somewhat 'civilized' society, it can take on a more enlightened approach.
Here is a well-known seduction definition, taken from Webster's Dictionary:
Enticing someone astray from right behavior
Ummm, excuse me, but what is 'right' behavior? Seduction makes people feel good. It is supposed to be light-hearted and fun. It is pleasurable and leads to enjoyment on the physical and/or spiritual level. What's not to like?
Another seduction definition from the same source:
An act of winning the love or sexual favor of someone
Okay, we're getting a little warmer. But how then is seduction considered 'wrong'... even criminal in some areas of the planet? ...in the United States!
Come on. We have to get off this primitive, sexually repressed notion that our bodies are 'bad'.
You are human. You have feelings. You have desires. You have wants and needs. When someone comes along and fulfills those longings within you, you experience pleasure. The standard seduction definition leaves out the fact that seduction FEELS good. It makes you feel alive. It colors your life and that of the other party.
Romance is the ultimate entertainment. But to become romantic (not a slave to your romanticism), you have to be a provider of romance by being aware of yourself logically first. You have to understand your fears, your motivations, and your behaviors. That's what makes it all a game... the fact that you are floating above it, both a player and a watcher. You are using your brain and being creative. And when you are real in your seduction, the outcome is LOVE...infused with self-honesty... with which comes power that should never be misued.
When you seduce someone you have to build trust. A real seductive person loves his or herself first, so he or she doesn't have to put up any facades. It is what it is. A person overflowing with enough love to share with others.
Since the seduction definition is so flawed, please understand that this website takes the stance of knowing that seduction is a way to get power, but feeling powerful is not the reason for playing the game.
We seduce and allow ourselves to be seduced because it has the possibility of leading to romantic love. And since we are human, we are (even just slightly) romantic. We LOVE love. There's no getting around it, so we may as well accept and enjoy it for what it is.
