Continued:
Later, someone slipped me his phone number on a napkin after I danced (by myself) to a song that came on. He gave me a wink and said “Call me”.
Really? Why would I call him? What reason would I have to pursue him?
…Someone who I had never spoken to, giving me a cocktail napkin with his number etched upon it, better be DAMN good-looking… or have an incredible presence. This guy was/had neither. The napkin now rests peacefully in my trash can.
What makes a male attractive?
Having the courage to walk up to a woman, silence his fear of rejection, and actually talk to her… to see if SHE'S WORTH having his number.
One of the game partners asked for my phone number. I make it a point to give almost anyone a chance... so I let him have the digits. (Is it still cool for me to say digits? :) Whatever.) He sent a text later that night. Drunk texts. Oh joy!
It read:
So it was nice meetin u 2nite n would like 2 hook up soon g liked ur style n I will tell u that u definitely have a great figure it is bangin ttyl.
Profound.
I really want to call him back so that he can gush all over me and tell me how great I am… puh-leeze… how boring, unoriginal, predictable, and straight-up-wussy, can you be?
What makes a male attractive?
The vibe HE gives off which screams “I am the prize, woman!"
Putting pretty women on a pedestal makes you look needy and unattractive. Stop caring about her looks so much and converse with her like she’s a human being.
The night ended as nights out sometimes do… my girl and I happily intoxicated on someone else’s dime… with no reason to talk to any of the suppliers of our drinks. We paid them with our attention. That’s how they set up the arrangement.
Bad Girl Bianca's Date Tip:
Learn how to love yourself and work on developing self-confidence. That is what makes a male attractive... The love he has for himself.
Now, I won't leave you hanging without ways to avoid the above scenarios, soooo... here's what these guys could have done to hook up with an Alpha Female (or any female for that matter) :-):
What they could have done instead:
Skee-Ball guys: Get something out of the deal. If you are going to pay, then you need to make a bet. Bet anything… girls buy a round if they lose, girls have to do something silly (a dare perhaps?), girls have to go home with you if they lose. ;-) Use your imagination.
Jukebox-cash-supplier: Use her musical tastes to qualify her. Say something like “Oh, you listen to that? (raise eyebrow with exaggerated look) "What are you a freak or something?" Start up any kind of playful conversation.
Guy who bought drink without talking to me first: Walk over and have a conversation! Figure out if I am worthy of you spending your hard-earned money on. Work on developing self-confidence... and above all, value yourself.
Drunken Text-er: Never send a text on the same night that you got the number… unless you were having a GREAT conversation with her and you were cut short. 18-24 hours later you can text/call/email whatever. Don’t be so anxious. And don’t obsess about her looks!
The only truly attractive male on this night, my friend’s husband, really stands out from the rest. He was relaxed, having a good time, and enjoying the atmosphere. He had his friend’s around him, and didn’t have to crack his wallet open for anything. He was the Alpha Male in this situation. Silently, but surely... and he was the guy who went home with two happy girls. (Even though nothing happened. Ha!)
Please don't be a beta male like the guys in this bar who went home broke and alone. You're better than that.
